It's been awhile since I posted a FOTD! Please excuse the hair and brows. I am in need of a trim and a wax! Not sure how I feel about the lipstick on me... the verdict is still out... Maybe if I change my shirt, it will look better?

Thank you! I wasn't sure about the lipstick at first, but it's growing on me. I don't think I can wear it with a bright pink shirt though...

I understand why you're not sure about the lipstick - it's really pretty and your lips, but it's very cool-toned against your warm complexion. Maybe try try pairing with really warm, rich eye colours (smokey chocolate brown or something?) to see how it looks? I am similar colouring to yourself, and personally can only really pull off cool lilacs/mauve lips with *really* dark eyes (don't know why it works, but it does - mebbe something about pale cool-looking lips being a bit "punky" with darker eyes?)

The other thing you could do is put on a slightly darker lipstick (a rose pink or something? something berryish?) as an undercoat, blot it right down to just a stain, then use the Orchidazzle as a topcoat? That would be very nice, too.

Don't get me wrong I think the lipstick looks fine and it's a pretty shade, but IMHO and from experience purple lips on pale warm complexions work better if there's a note of berry to the colour.

You have such lovely features and such great skin that no shade is going to look *bad* on you, but I do think you might like a deeper lipstick better.
I'm NW15; brunette; green eyes. I just ordered "Orchidazzle" and "Petalpoint," and am hoping they'll work on me.
I loove purples, so I'm hopeful.
