Fighting with Steel Blue!

I tried Steel Blue today for the first time - I thought it would be like Rose pigment (I have no problems with that one!), but no way could I get it to stick to my skin! It was just all over the place, even when I wetted my brush it still wouldn't stay put! Does anyone else have those problems with Steel Blue? I really want to use it, it's such a pretty color!!

I have the best luck applying Steel Blue with my fingers rather than using a brush. In general, my fingers are my favorite applicators, smudgers and blenders!

I use silverbleu shadestick underneath of it. Shadesticks seem to make pigments stick and hang on for hours.

It looks awesome on you.

steel blue is absolute evil! gorgeous in the jar but I can't make it look good on me...it won't stick dry, and when I try it wet it's lumpy looking

Maybe with a CCB or something sticky under it? I haven't tried that.

Looks gorgeous on you though!

I used a paint under it, but I guess that wasn't sticky enough! I have to try it with a shadestick or CCB then - this is the only pigment I have trouble like that with!

it looks beautiful... i really hope you find a way to make it stick cuz it really foes look gorgeous on you. you should def try shade sticks... i find that s/s work better than paints with certain pigments. i only have a small sample of steel blue and i've only ever used it as a liner so i wouldnt know what else to do sorry.
