Filling a palette.

Do you guys ever get the feeling of satisfaction when you finally finish filling a palette? lol.

As of last night I finally filled my first blush palette and I'm all WOO! lol. Believe it or not, a couple ofmonths ago I only had ONE blush, and I only owned 1 blush for like 3 years. LOL.
Now I'll have to get a new palette and start all over again! :p

haha ...I feel the same about my eyeshadow palettes. I never owned any kind of makeup now I'm on my second palette. I should start on the blush palette soon! Congrats on filling it up! =)

they've both been full at one time, but like most people i buy/sell alot..so my e/s collection tends to fluctuate. lol.

I think there is some satisfaction to having it full, but on the flipside that means I have to order/receive a new palette to start all over again. And most times I need to overhaul how they are all ordered according to colour groups. I'm a little nerdy when it comes to organizing my palette--I plan it all out on the computer, then print out my palette sheets then re-organize.

lol, i know about the re-organizing stuff. I keep doing it with my e/s..but I've never done the whole computer/print and re-organize..that's too much work! lol.

Ladies where do you get mac empty palettes from? I don't see them on their website..maybe I am overlooking it? Also are the holiday palettes refillable? those cases are too pretty ... just trying to familiarize my self with mac products

they are a MAC Pro item, you need to go to a pro store to get them, or call your local pro store

You can't get them from the mac website, you can get them from the pro/freestanding MAC stores. The holiday palettes are NOT refillable. HTH!

i've filled up 3 quads and it is quite satisfying. now im slowly working on the 4th one.

off topic: what are the dimensions of the 15 eye palatte? i have 4 quads, and i believe its time to move them to the 15, but i am wondering if it would fit into my little makeup bag.
thanks!

lol. I have no idea what the dimensions are...and I'm nowhere near my palettes to take a ruler to 'em at the moment. :/

No, Azalea is one of the new pro blushes!
It's VERY bright and needs to be applied with a very light hand if you want to wear it on a "normal" basis.

I'm wearing it in this photo:

Yes!! I was very excited to fill my first e/s palette. I was actually more excited filling up my first blush palette though! Not sure why, maybe it was because I was happy that I depotted my Barbie blushes *perfectly* after being scared that I'd mess them up.

If I depot my McQueen eye shadows I'll have two full palettes... Decisions, decisions.
