I saw this last night and have to say it's terrific. At the Cannes International Film Festival this year it won the award for Best Screenplay and the Best Actress award went to the entire ensemble playing the major female characters in the film. Their performances really are outstanding. The film is at times very funny, at others very poignant. It's beautifully filmed and the fact it is in Spanish with subtitles didn't diminish my enjoyment one little bit. I'd happily go and see it again tomorrow.

After her death, a mother returns to her home town in order to fix the situations she couldn't resolve during her life. Of her family left in the town, her ghost slowly becomes a comfort to her daughters, as well as her grandchild
