First FOTD 08/09/06

I just tried out pompous blue for the first time today and I love it. I don't love the job I did with it =P but I really love the color. So worth it.

Here are just a few snapshots before I had to go run errands.

That WTF look is because a cloud moved and the sun blinded me.

Studio fix fluid in NC25
Studio fix in C35+C30 (for contouring)
Medium blot powder

Eyes:
Bare Canvas Paint (base)
Some black shadow from NYX
Chrome Yellow e/s
Overgrown e/s
Aquadistic e/s
Golden Olive Pigment
Some random mascara
A tiny bit of embark on my brows
And the star: Pompous blue e/s

I usually try not to MATCH my makeup with my clothes, but give hints of similar color schemes.

Haha thank you. Yes, I would admit that my style is a bit too dramatic for some people's taste. Using all the black is pretty much in my every-day face. But I do have more conservative natural looks for job interviews, school interviews, and other professional occasions.

I figure I need to have all the fun with color while I'm young before I get stuck in a job where I can't wear things like this anymore! And if I'm lucky, I'll find a job that won't care ^_^

I love the look! The way the contrast between the top and bottom fades outward. This is the kind of dramatic look I should try.
