First FOTD with the "Tape" Trick!

This is my first time doing my eyes with tape on the sides and.....I'm not sure how I feel about it. I may have not done it right and I think the lines are lopsided but my biggest rant is that I think the line is too harsh. So I'm iffy on the tape thing. Also, used a sample of MUFE HD Foundation and after seeing the pics, I remembered why I didn't buy the foundation. It makes me look sooo white and my face is oily in five minutes. So anyways...on to the look:

Used:​

Face: Smashbox Primer, MUFE HD Foundation in #118 (I think), Blooming Blush, Highlight from Benefit, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder​

Eyes (All MAC): Painterly P/P, Gesso e/s, Nocturnal Plum pigment, Tete-a-tint e/s, Sketch e/s, Vanilla pigment, Dipdown, Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara​

Lips: Oak l/l, Revlon Nude Attitude, Sally Hansen Sheer Pink gloss​

with the 'tape trick' i always blend the line like crazy cause it does come out a lil harsh on me.

If you didn't like the tape trick you can also clean up the outer corner with foundation and a synthetic brush. I prefer that to tape, and if it's still too harsh just add a little shadow and blend

I also happen to think the foundation looks good on you! Then again your skin always looks nice.

Thank you for the tip, I have to give that a try! I normally just clean off with a foundation sponge but lately that's been hurting me and leaving the side of eyes red...I always do my face first so I'm sure that doesn't help!
