hello...i'm an asian girl with no crease who is very very new to makeup! i came across snowkei's tutorials and am now completely inspired by her!

This is my first real attempt to use more than 2 colours of eyeshadow! I had some great help from Helen at Mac in Metrotown in BC.

I thought I'd post a couple of pics here...I don't even know what FOTD stands for!

the pic is kinda unfocused and don't mind my baby girl she's sleepy!

I used:

flashtronic = by jupiter & lovestone, girlie, and jade antique (by maybelline)

here's a close up picture:

it looks a lot greener in person...can't get the right lighting! it also looked a lot better this morning...this is the end of the day after taking care of my 6 month old baby!

haha thanks everyone! Izzy thanks everyone too for the compliments~ Yeah the green is great...it's by covergirl and it's really deep & intense looking. I'm a mommy on a budget so I can't afford to buy everything mac! (Plus my husband doesn't appreciate my new found makeup hobby so I have to try to save where ever i can!)

oh and thanks for clarifying what everything stands for stephie06!

Isabella is adorable! Look at those big beautiful eyes! She's going to have some fun putting make-up on those suckers in about 15 years or so...lol.

I love the eye shadows you used. Very pretty and flattering!

I also have crease-less little asian eyes and often found it difficult to emulate looks with multiple colors when I starting experimenting with makeup (wtf do you do with the "crease color"!?!). I've come to learn that asian eyes can be an entirely different and beautiful kind of canvas for eye shadow art. Just think, you can see our ENTIRE LID and everything we put on it ALL THE TIME!!! For ppl with creases, they have to close their eyes to show-off their work in it's entirety. But not us.

I'm glad you're getting into makeup!! You have a lovely face and I hope you really enjoy trying new looks out.

thanks hunnybun! i never thought of it that way...ever since i was little i wanted the crease and even used double-sided tape to try to achieve it! i grew to accept my creaselessness but never thought i was capable of using eyeshadow. recently i started to use falsies and i found that if i applied them too high above my lashline, it would create a crease and i HATE it cuz it looks SO UNNATURAL on me!
anyhoo you're a great confidence booster for us creaseless gals!

her daddy is caucasian and i'm 1/2 korean 1/2 vietnamese, but i have a teensy bit of russian blood in me so i'm guessing that's why she has reddish hair!

aww this is so true! especially when you just want a hint of color with a little punch... it's much easier to achieve this on creaseless eyes.
