The blending is perfect but it's a shame that petrol seems to appear washed out on you. Maybe try to use another (darker) base that supports that colour. Hope you understand waht I mean.

Nevertheless it's a wonderful and very feminine look!

I have problems blending with UDPP, and it's really irritating me because - I guess - I'm not good enough to figure out how to blend and use it, too. I'm thinking of trying without it a day or so and see how it goes.

TEACH ME TO BLEND! You do, seriously, have some mad blending skills!

oooh i am not alone! *jumps up and down*
and thanks! *blushes* hmmm, but ... i dont know how to teach this, because there is no special technique - i dont do anything but taking my blending brush, some vanilla-like color and layer it over the other color.

What blending brush do you use? Do you have a picture?
And do you blend all your colors using a vanilla-like color?

this is my normal applying and blending brush for the lid and crease - i blend the colors together while applying them, half over another, not using a special blending color.
brush:
Deluxe%20Fluff.jpg

for the dark outline over the crease (today "Sienna Fine" Pigment) i take a big, fluffy blending brush and some very light color like "Vanilla Sky" and apply this color half on the dark outline, half on the naked skin, while whiping the brush from inside out.
this is the blending brush:

huh, could you figure it out?
perhaps i need to try a tut ..

Yes, that makes sense! That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. (About applying part of each color over the other.) I've tried this, but it always seems to wash out my colors. I need more practice, I guess!

And YESSS!!! You should do a tut!!

i have the same problem with udpp
try benefit lemonaid
it's a little waxy, but i use it under a paint / ccb / shadestick & the color payoff seems to be WAY better than it is with a udpp
