I think you could use Fluidlines as a lipliner but I don't think there are any/that much shades that would look great as a lipliner *thinksofbluepeepasalipliner*

Oh...I thought you meant coming out with a lipliner with a formula similar to fluidlines.

that's what i thought also. i think the fluidliners are messy and tricky so making a lipliner like the eyeliner might be a mess too.
also, luella is luella bartley. she is some designer or something. i never heard of her before either. she has a new comercial out (i forget what it was for though)

Hee hee, me too.

I know Luella Bartley is a designer (clothing) but not really familiar with her line. She must be funky though, for MAC to collaborate with her.

yeah, that's what I thought, the chick from the Target commercials, and I always think that it's a rimmel commercial...ha, but yeah, i was thinking like the same concept as the fluidlines, but it's made for lipliner...I don't know if anyone misunderstood though.

I think it could be a nice idea to have fluidlines in the right colors for this actual pupose

. I'm probably not supposed to but I use a bit of Brassy Fluidliner around my cupid's bow and pair it with Rose pigment and clear gloss and it makes a beautiful gold and pink toned lipcolor

luella bartley is a designer, i believe she's british? i could be wrong. her collection pieces are VERY expensive and sold at saks and neiman marcus and stuff. and i'm talking her runway stuff is upwards of $1000. her bags are really popular. she just designed a cheaper line for target, thats actually pretty cute.

*chuckle*
I have used blue peep as a lip liner before. The key is to blend the edges down very well before it dries. Then I mix up a rose with turquoise pigment so that it has a little turq shimmer, or another color with turquoise pigment shimmer so that it looks really nice.

I know it sounds bizarre, but it really did look nice.

So, bluepeepasaliner is not as bad as ya think......*chuckle*

Now, if only they would come out with a lime green fluidline, life would be complete.......

I am not sure how lip safe they would be. IMO I think it would be a bit drying to the lips.

Plus they don't really have any "lip colors". I guess if you like brown dipdown would be nice. Maybe brassy or richground with the right color.

I used frostlite for challenge once but I can tell you even with gloss over it my lips felt tight and dry.

Her is some info on Luella

I adore her handbags and her Target line is way cute!
She's very cutting edge and yet somehow cute/funky at the same time.
I have my eye on 2 of her handbags right now.
this one
& this one
I have this one and I just adore it. I don't use it much because I don't want to mess it up. As you can tell I have a funky sense of style.
Everything by her is very well made. I think MAC picked her name for the TLC's due to her cuteness factor of making things wearable yet adorable.

I found that using it as a simple liner and then blending it so that it is not obvious works fine as long as you blend it out well- that means that it is not thick and drying. The other lip surface is covered by lipstick and gloss. It works out well

Of course, I only use it for special looks- not daily.

that bag is ADORABLE!! I'd get one if I were into bags... but then I sit there and think "That's X amount of dollars that I coulda spent on MAC. Nah."

MAC is my crack right now and it's worse now that I work for Macy's and my favorite counter IS IN MY STORE.
