so i was looking into a mac eyeliner and i had some questions... many questions actually. i am looking for a black eyeliner and i'm really interested in Fluidline in blacktrack with the 266 brush. it seems like the best from many reviews on here and makeupalley.com.

no, you can buy cheaper brush cleaners from other lines that will do the same job.

i've had mine for probably about a year now, and i've still got a bunch left. i don't use it daily though...

never, that's what i like about it!

i think fluidlines are 15USD which would be something like 15.44CAD i think.

I use Body Shop shower gel, it's gentle. Baby Shampoo or brush cleaner work too.

Nah, I wouldn't.

I just got mine but it's amazing. Probably a year if you use it everyday.

Never and I put it on my waterline for work in the morning at like 8am and by 10pm at night, it's still there!

Fluidlines are like 16.00 in Canada, I think. Comes to like 20.00 with tax. My brush was 14.00 at Sephora.

With the cleanser I use, you dip it in the cleanser and then wipe it on a tissue until it's clean.

I hate the MAC brush cleanser. Completely useless to me. I use Cinema Secrets, which actually gets ALL the makeup off the brushes and disinfects them too. It also dries way faster.

A long time, since I don't like it very much, so I hardly use it.

I like it just fine and it's my favourite gel based liner, I'm yet to try Bobbi Brown's though.

266 or 212, depending on what I'm going fore, if it's more winged, I'll use the 266.

Yes, with a tissue, but if I'm using it on different people on the same day, I'll clean with the Make Up For Ever cleaning liquid.

It's not necessary to use the MAC cleanser, I prefer Make Up For Ever's per example.

Between three and six months.

$13 CDN and you get lots. It contains tea tree oil to sanitize.

I have about 9 and they haven't stopped yet. I use blacktrack most and its still supple and working.

The thing about fluidline for me is...IT DOESN'T SMUDGE. Even if all my eye make-up is worn away...fluidline is still there.

- I use a brush that I got from Costco it's kind of a mix of MAC's 212 and 231

- I try to but not always, if I'm going to be using the same color later than I usually don't sweat it. But I always clean all my brushes at least weekly.

- I use MAC brush cleanser at least once a week, if not daily. Then I do a thorough cleaning about once or twice a month with baby shampoo. The most important thing to remember is to never allow your brushes to dry vertically. Always allow your brushes to dry lying down.

- Absolutely not. There are many other options out there and baby shampoo works just fine.
