I've heard many great things about fluidline, and I've been looking to get a black or brown color that I can use all the time and spice up to make more interesting. any suggestions on a good color? I have brown eyes and my eyelashes are already thick and dark and I dont wear mascara so yeah.

and to add, what kind of brush do you use for fluidline? I've heard tons of different ones and every MAC MA I talk to at the store says something different that they like!

I have black track and brassy, I use the 266 brush, its thin and slanted, I can make very fine lines or thick lines with it....they ARE great liners and you could really use a lot of different brushes depending on the look you want.

Well, Blacktrack is black and Dipdown is deep brown. Both are basic. Blacktrack is a fine black, but Dipdown is so blah on my brown eyes. Blitz & Glitz is a brown-black with shimmer, but the shimmer isn't all that noticeable to me. I really like this one. It defines the eye w/o looking harsh like black sometimes can, but it isn't blah like Dipdown. The brush depends on the kind of line you want. I prefer a thin line and use #209. It's fairly easy to get an even line with it too, which is a plus if you're an eyeliner klutz like I am.

i had the 266 brush but it was a little too thick for my eyes.. i have almost no eye fold. so yeah now i use 263. and 208 depending on my mood. theyre all the flat angled brush. i think the reason why there are so varietys in brush choices are because of people's preferences.. but they all work awesome. some are regular flat brushes, some are angles, and some are the pencil point type brush. there is no 'right' brush for fluidlines, thats probably why u've heard so many diff recoomendations ;] HTH!

Fluidlines are soo amazing - today I forgot to take off the Blacktrack on my eyes before heading to ultimate frisbee practice. We played for, like, 2 hours while it was muddy and raining, and it only disappeared a tiny bit =D Hehe this forum makes me feel so younng, as I'm a senior in high school =P

But anyways, I highly recommend them! They stay on soo nicely, beautiful colors, and they go on really smooth. As for brushes, you could go to the MAC counter and try a few out on your hand or something.

Blacktrack is essential. It's a matte black fluidline and it's a must-have for brown eyes! You might also like Macroviolet - which is a dark purple liner.

I am falling in love with the fluidliners as well. Blacktrack is essential and I love Dipdown too, very natural for my asian eyes. I've got macroviolet too but have not tried it yet. I have wobbly hands and am still perfecting drawing lines with my brush so the 212 is just nice for me. Rich Ground and Shade is what I'm yearning for next.

I really love Richground - I'd describe it as a deep bronzy colour. Though I've got blue eyes I'm sure it'll look awesome on brown eyes as well! I also like to use the 266 brush, as do many here.

Rich Ground and Blitz & Glitz are must-haves! I have dark eyes, dark thick lashes and they make my eyes stand out a little more, without the use of mascara.

I am absolutely dying to get Macroviolet too! It's not autumn here, but I've been thinking it'd be fab for autumn.

I just bought blacktrack tonight! I'm wondering how long it would typically take to go through a pot if you used it every day? I'm just wondering if it's worth the price, because there are quite a few that I want.

i have sweet sage, rich ground, macrovoilet, brassy and blitz&glitz. my faves are blitz & glitz and sweet sage. i weanr the B&G as a liner, and the sage as an eyeshadow base. i use the rest much less than those 2.

i use a MAC lip brush or Laura Mercier #5 flat liner brush to apply them
