Just a quick one, do you sometimes find it a lot easier to choose colours for your customers than for yourself? I find that when it comes to helping people choose e/s for their night's out/wedding/prom ect it comes with ease, but when it comes to myself I look down at the tons of make up I have and am overwhelmed with choice lol! Its so much easier for me to pick things for other people. I mean I'm a huge make up fan and I love the colours but sometimes I just think the possibilities are endless and I cant narrow it down! Anyone else got this problem lol?

I just wear the same two looks day in and out

Seriously, it only changes when we're directed to wear a particular look or set of colours. beyond that, though, I know what works and I rarely change it. Silver-taupe-smokey, pink-taupe-pearl. If it ain't broke...

i try to change it up but i find that i do the same thing, only the colors change. i try to keep it to 3 colors and i find that people trust me more when i am not overly done up.

lately i do a simple eye and change up my lip. its quick and easy!

Yes! I have too many choices. I pretty much always incorporate current launch and that tends to help narrow down the choices. It also depends on how much time I have

I work on Saturday onlys and can feel overwhelmed with what look to go for... but I know that I have to pick colours from the current collection so usually it works out fine.

What I do to spread out a small collection is pick one eyeshadow and then play with that colour, using some prod. from the perm collection. For e.g. one week for NN it was purple, another navy, another bright blue and the final week I used pandomonium for a grey smokey...

But when I'm not working, I go by the mood I'm in and then pick colours - so if i want a smokey look... i'll make it a purple smokey or a blue smokey...

I wear a totally different look at work every single day but ALWAYS include at least one product from a current collection... We do two theme days a week so thats sorted out for us already... If i am stuck on what to do I will see what we have most of left for sale in a collection and use that as my main focus to try and sell it (eg today we had lots of bronzescape solar bits left but hardly any of the others so i used that as my inspiration and focus)

I find it so easy to pick for customers - customer friendly looks are often the same whereas with mine its ok to play with something totally different!

Yep - realistically it's more or less the same two or three looks over again with slight variations in colour depth depending on the skin tone of the person that I'm working on. As much as I love vibrant pink or royal purple, the slightly pearly almond beige is always going to be my #1 seller

haha! so true!

Oh how often I get ladies coming in and saying "I really like my current lipstick/gloss/blush/eyeshadow, but I want something just a little bit different" go through colours, they choose one, love it, pull out the old lipstick/gloss/blush/eyeshadow from their bag, and 9/10 times its the same one as they have just picked out as "different"! lol
