I went to a makeup counter in a store here in Memphis, and I asked the makeup consultant about WoC wearing pink, and she laughed in my face. I was a bit taken aback by her rudeness and she flat out said that women my color (about the same tone as yours) should never wear pink, and to stick to deep reds and glossy gold tones. Gosh, I wish I could slap her in the face with your picture, because obvs, she was absolutely wrong. This pink is fab on you! Good job girl!

I'm guessing this woman was NOT a woman of color and probably knows NOTHING about makeup for WOC.

Something I learned is that there are no colors that we cant wear!!!

Just for that, I'm wearing pink eyeshadow all freakin' week. lol.
