Hey everyone, today's a beautiful day where I am (Like around 26C/79F) and it was my last day at work for a bit (June 1st). It was school day at the ballpark; that loosely translated into english means Hell. I worked from 9am to 11am indoors then 11am to 2pm in the sun (For those that don't know I work security at a baseball stadium). Needless to say by the end of the game my sunscreen (SPF 70; I use the lifeguard stuff) had worn off and I was left with some burns on my nose and cheeks. It kind of sucks, they're not bad by any means however. I'm also have some lovely breakouts now too. Thankfully I have make-up since I'm going to the theater with my boyfriend.

The sky's supposed to be blue?

Here's my face from when I got home from work:

And this is how it looks after I fixed it:

Just so you all know I used some polysporen and lots of aloe vera then put some fdn on.

So here's my look (not sure if I'm happy with it):

FACE:
- MAC Studio Fix Fluid NW20 mixed w/ aloe gel.
- MAC p/b in Springsheen (only a little)
- MAC piggies in Provence

EYES:
- MAC pigments in Provence & Viz-a-Violet
- Inglot e/s in #980 (Black); #091 (Dark Purple Shimmer); #935 (Purple); #095 (Dark Pink)
- Rimmel Mascara.

LIPS:
- MAC l/s in Honey Love

-----------------------

And as always CC and well any sort of comments are nice to hear.

Thanks everyone. The burn should be gone by tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. It really only hurts when I scrunch or blow my nose which sadly is often cause of my allergies lol. I ended up keeping the purple on and then wore my favourite purple sweater and felt dumb for matching, but damn the movie theater is freezing cold.

Woah SPF70 - we only have spf30 in australia and we have the highest incidence of skin cancer and melanomas - we need some of that spf sunscreen down here..

spf30 sometimes just doesnt cut it..

It's made for lifeguards so it's waterproof/sweatproof kind of deal. However, just like any sunscreen you need to reapply it after a bit, and well I never got a chance with 1500 kids running around being little asses. Mind you I'm also the kind of person who can run to the store with on sunscreen on and get a tan from the 5 minutes in the sun.
