I stopped by my local Tanger outlet and boy did I hit paydirt! I came out with three pigments, four shadows (two of which ar Stila and are amazing), a blush brush and a MAC Jewel face pallette. Too cool for school....
So, Here is a look that I did that incoporates all my new friends. Free to Be is getting some bad press lately but I gotta tell you. I like it. It is a really unique color and it is so great layered over a base color to give a muted appearance. I am glad that I got the little darkhorse quad, along with the super star Inventive Eyes.
Okay, dissertation is over, onto the stuff.
*Ingenue Blue Eyeshadow
*Free to Be Eyeshadow
*Sensibility Eyeshadow
*Twig Eyeshadow (Stila)
*Violet Gel Liner (Bobbi Brown)
*P Brown 77 Blush (Shu Uemura)
*Oh Baby LG
Pack Ingenue Blue Eyeshadow over the lid and end it right before the crease. Don't pull this color up too high. With an all over shader, sweep Free to Be Shadow (from the free to be quad, of course!) over the Ingenue Blue and pull it up into the crease. Don't be afraid to keep adding until the two colors meld into a soft finish.
Highlight the brow bone with Sensibility (from the FTB Quad).
Using a stiff, small brush tight line the upper lash line with Bobbi Brown Violet Gel Liner (or Macroviolet), use the same to line the lower waterline.
With the 242 Brush, apply Twig along the lower lashline and smoke it out ( MAC Crimsonette or Agate would work too).
I am wearing P Brown 77 by Shu Uemura on my cheeks and Oh Baby Lip Glass for glossy lips.
