What do you guys think of the foundation brush? Is it worth it? Whats it like compared to fingers/sponges etc? Thanx in advance!

I love foundation brushes for application! I think they're the next best things to using your fingers. I think it helps the foundation adhere better without rubbing any off during the application. But, it can leave you looking a little streaky so after applying with a brush, I use a sponge to smooth it out even more. Totally woth it, IMO.

I 2nd what Dreamergirl3 said.

when I use liquid foundation I usually blend it with a damp sponge after applying with the foundation brush.
I like a nice wide foundation brush. For me it helps get nice coverage and I don't have to worry so much about streaks.
I have the Brandon #1814

I have Stila's #27 and I really like it! It's small and very precise!! It makes the foundation look more flawless!! Especially the fndts that cover very well!

I like using my foundation brush, but I would love to find one that doesn't streak...if that's possible. Sometimes in the morning, I just don't have the extra time to go over with a sponge.

Has anyone used Armani's Blender (Foundation) brush? I'm really curious about it since it's natural hair, not synthetic. Although it is $45 usd

i use the MAC 190 brush and it is TOTALLY worth it, in fact, ANY foundation brush is worth it. Only cause with a brush you get a better and smoother application, you use less product because the sponge tends to soak up some of the product. i forgot what the actual percentage was but its like...with a sponge you use 2/3 more product? lOL i dunno dont quote me on that!!

Heehee, I quoted you anyway, but because I totally agree.... foundation brushes are definitely the way to go. Application is smoother, and I really noticed that I don't use as much product as I did with a sponge. I use Bobbi Brown's foundation brush and application is not streaky whatsoever. And it cleans really easily. Love it.

I use MAC 190, but I only like it with cream products. I prefer LM sponges for liquids and fingers for mousse types. I just find a brush applies streaky, unevenly and too thin a layer for the coverage I want. Plus it just seems to take longer. I only use it with Studiotech, Moistureblend or KA Dew Drop.

I am a complete foundation moron as I don't wear it very often but shelled out on a really fab brush - I have to say, it's worth it though if you go too fast or don't have an even amount on brush to begin with you may end up with streaks.

But seriously, for the general ease of application, appearance and speed that comes with having a brush, I'm definitely convinced it was worth it. The first time I used one to do a full face of makeup on myself, it looked fine and the whole face took 45 mins (from start to finish not just putting on fdn) as opposed to my usual bumbling 2-3 hrs because I just can't get things right.
