ok, so honestly i have never used a foundation
ssad.gif
in part because i was never really taught how and in part cause i fear breaking out since i associate foundation with clogging my pores, lol
I am a year round tanner, I tan all year ALWAYS and have found that just a bronzer works fine for me.
Heres the issue... I have been feeling like I am overbronzing

I put a pic here of me today perfect example of I think overbronzing? I use too faced pink leopard bronzer and MAC breezy blush usually.
Id love to maintain a sunkissed look without looking like a mess, is there a foundation thats light i can maybe use the dust a bronzer over lightly? my brush just hasnt learned "lightly"lol
would I use a tan foundation? if so who makes a good one?
I was never taught to apply makeup and have just learned what i could from friends and such

I don't think that you shouldn't use a tan foundation, but if you feel like you are overbronzing there are a few things that you can try. First, try to get a big, fluffy powder brush and try to use less product. Also, do you use the bronzer all over your face? You should only put it on the places that would get sunkissed, the center of your forehead, down the center of your nose, your cheekbones, and a little on your chin. I hope that this helps you!

Don't feel bad! For me at least a bigger brush helps to disperse the product better. If those tricks don't help please let me know, I am here to help!

you're hilarious, and look gorgeous and glowing - possibly a little over shimmery though? I definitely wouldn't cover you with a foundation, however a tinted moisturizer with a pat of powder might toner down the shimmer, or look for a bronzer with less shine. A little as a highlight is great - too much is too shiny. HTH's

I agree with the PP...possibly a little much in the way of shimmer...I use pink leopard, and I have to be reeeeeeeeeeeeeally careful with it, because it really is WAAAY shimmery. Also, if you're looking to try a foundation, but you're worried about application and such, why not try a Mineralize Skinfinish natural? It's powder, so you won't feel like you're weighed down with makeup, but it also doesn't leave your skin matte and flat (haha I rhymed!)...you get sort of an understated glow...I don't know how to describe it. Then you can do what the other girls said, use a big fluffy brush to distribute your bronzer carefully...GL hun!!
