I'm looking for a light foundation for oily skin.... but I don't know which one to get? Would it be okay to use a MSF natural for this instead? Or should I try something else??? Do you have any other suggestions :S?
Oh, and preferably from MAC.

TIA

If you don't mind a tinted moisturizer, esp for summer, I highly recommend Neutrogena Healthy Skin.. it has retinols, sunscreen and a nice color range and finish at least for me (NW20). I use it with MAC blot powder (the BEST!!) and it gives me nice coverage without feeling heavy. HTH

I love the MSF Naturals for this type of situation, but depending on how oily you are, you may need to supplement with Oil Control Lotion and/or Blot Powder. But it will give you the coverage you want without adding oil or shine...

I used to use select tint foundation, which I thought was awesome. You could try that with either blot powder or the Natural msfs for a little more coverage. Also you could try using an anti-oil serum before putting your foundation on...

I have oily skin and I love select tint with blot powder buffed on with with my 182. I broke out really badly from natural msf, but that just be my skin.

Thanks, ladies!

I currently have a natural MSF and I don't run into problems with it. I'll have to purchase a new one though, in Medium, since I currently have Medium Dark, and that's too dark for when my skin is it's normal colouring (not tanned). And I will also look into the blot powder as well.

Also, I was wondering what brush I should use with the natural MSF? Any particular ones that I should use?

I don't know.. I have combination skin and MSF make my skin too shiny after a few hours. But finding the right shde is VERY important!! You don't want it to look like a mask, with an orange face and a white neck. A good trick is to pick three foundations: one lighter than your skintone, one that comes very close to your skintone, and one darker. Take a little sample, apply the foundations right next to each other on your jawlin, then blend. The one that isn't noticeable (in other words, invisible) will be the right one for you. Since you have oily skin I would suggest a blotting powder or blot film.

OOH and make sure you look at how the foundation looks in natural light before you buy it, because at MAC they're very sneaky and have lightning that makes everything look beautiful.
