I had some foundations tried on today.
Clinique Superfit 17 Cream
and
MAC Select NC20

Both looked good. I have combination skin with blemishes. Which one should I go for?

It's up to personal preference. MAC foundations break me out, and I know they break out a lot of other people, too. It's all about what works with your skin.

Did you get samples? MAC and Sephora give samples, and I'd recommend giving each one a chance by wearing them for a week or so to see if it'll break you out.

I'm a sucker for MAC Studio Tech. You didn't try that buy any chance, did you? I've heard a lot of people say MAC foundations break them out, and I have really sensitive skin and have never had a problem with Studio Tech. It covers really well and a little goes a long way. It's also supposed to be "non-acnegenic" which is one of the reasons I tried it in the first place.

I've very sensitive skin. I've been using MAC Select SPF 15 liquid foundation for a year now and I love it.

I don't think you can get the samples online. If you live close to the counters, though, they can give them to you there. MACs are in Macy's and Nordstrom's, at least where I'm at, and Sephora's are in JC Penny's. Both are also free-standing.
