Hey everyone!
Anyways I need some suggestions with foundation.
My skin in tan/medium
Hair is Brown
Eyes Brown
My skin is a bit dry especially in fall/winter (my city is just a dry place all year round in general which takes a toll on skin)
Well I currently use MAC Select SPF 15 liquid foundation for about a year and a half and well now I want to switch it up. I still want a medium coverage - buildable/heavy, I do not want as matte as a finish as this foundation but not as shimmery as Hypperal (I did not like when I tryed it) also something that will not make me look cakey/flakey. To some it up I would like a Dewy finish foundation that is medium to heavy coverage that will not dry up my skin, also I have sensitive skin so make sure it is oil free any suggestions?
I always wanted a powder to set my foundation but I am to scared any suggestions for a powder??
Please help me

How about Mineralized Satinfinish? It's dewy and the coverage is buildable. I'm not sure if it's oil-free or not though =/

mineralize satinfinish will give you the glow that you want, but not the coverage if used alone. its a sheer to medium coverage foundation. if you go with this, i'd suggest the MSFN to set it. if you use a denser brush, it'll give you more of a medium coverage, which may be what you're looking more. you get the glow with the foundation, with a bit of buildability, and a bit more coverage and setting properties with the MSFN.

Make Up For Ever (MUFE) fdtns are very good! if for some reason u get a matte fdtn u can get revlon skinlights or mac strobe lotion to mix with it to make it look dewy.

Hey there! I suggest Mineralize Satinfinish as well...it sure is buildable and it gives a lovely dewy finish but not at all shiny.....check it out

I'm considering getting Select SPF today...I have been using Studio Fix Fluid but skin is not liking it...want something a bit lighter and more "gentle" so Select was recommended.....how did you like it? Does it stay long on? and probs at all with it?
Let me know!

Thanks!

I would truly recommend Dior's Diorskin Forever Extreme Foundation. It possesses a modest coverage that is simply natural feeling. It is also great for every skin type and generously sinks into the skin like a second skin.

Awww thanks everyone for all your help!
I think I am going to go Mac and try out the Mineralized Satinfinish and also the Moisturblend ... what is the difference? Also, I was looking on the Mac website ... how is the Studio Stick??
I have only ever used Mac but I guess I could get a sample of Make up Forever and Dior ... I'm pretty much open to whatever... =)

I have been using the Select SPF 15 for about 1.5 years. I haven't really had any problems with it, it's good for everyday wear but I feel as if you don't set it in, then it fades away fast which gets annoying. It also (to me) feels a bit watery but that could just be my skin. It is also pretty light weight which is a plus. When I go out at night and I want a more heavy coverage I feel that you have to put a lot on to achieve a certain look, that is mostly the reason I'm looking for another foundation (for those nights out) I am just not the girl to like to touch up my makeup every once a couple hours.
