my skin is kind of oily and also my skin tone is really uneven so i need good coverage, but i cant stand the cakey foundations, i want one that looks fresh and glowing but natural at the same time.

Can someone help me out with which MAC foundation would suit me best? i never seem to get it right..

i tried the select spf, and didn't think it was good at all! I'm considering trying studio tech or moistureblend? just because i've never tried any of that kind, only the liquid

i would reaalllyyy appreciate the help!

thankyouu so much x x

I wouldn't advise Studio Tech on oily skin for continuous usage, not only does it have a less than desirable staying power, most people tend to break out when wearing Studio Tech repeatedly.

As for Moistureblend, your skin will most likely become oilier after continuous usage.

I would recommend Make Up Forever's Mat-Velvet +, it will give you good coverage and will keep your skin looking matte.

I really enjoyed Diorskin Airflash, if it's only to unify your complexion, it will do the trick, but if you need coverage for blemishes, scars, it won't be the best thing.

Try MAC Prep+Prime for the face, then MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation. I find that the Prep+Prime gives a good 'canvas' for the foundation to adhere to. It keeps oily areas dry, and doesn't really dry you out in dry areas. I have combo skin, and the Studio Fix Fluid does a realllly good job with keeping skin fairly matte, but it doesn't look heavy. Layer for more coverage where you need it. Finish with a dusting of MAC Blot loose powder on your t-zone, then spritz skin with Fix+ to give skin a natural finish. HTH!
