Right when i've been to MAC they've matched me with NC colors because they said I was olive skinned. These just look really yellow on my skin like I have Jaundice or something lol, it's not a good look. I'm confused though, if im warm why do these colors look like that?

I have asked on the other board too but thoguht i'd ask specifically about mac because their color range is so good.

This is me:

ooh, i would first like to comment that you are gorgeous! =)

if you are an olive-skinned gal and you feel as though the nc colors are too yellow for you, then you should try some of the nw tones mac offers but the thing is, you may find the nw colors too pink.

from my experience, i've noticed that if you blend the foundation really well you can make it so that it looks like you own that color. the more you blend the better. it also really depends on the foundation you use. mac say they stay true to the color labels but all types give a different color on your skin.

i agree, if you have jaundice, you don't want to make yourself look more yellow.

i think you will like studio fix fluid for just an every day look. i know it's not very cost efficient to buy two shades of foundation but i actually mix nw20 and nc20 to get the best color for my skin.

i also think for the days that you want to do a more fun make up, to try hyper real foundation. i've noticed that the nw shades have a bit more of the pink iridescence to it as the nc have more of a golden iridescence to the tone. from looking at your pictures, i think you'll enjoy this foundation.

To neutralize some of the yellow you can apply a mauve colored corrector, Make Up For Ever and Yves Saint-Laurent both have primers in that shade that can help neutralize the yellow undertone. If you're looking for a foundation that's slightly on the pink side that can correct it on its own, try some Shiseido, I've always felt that their foundations always have pink undertones.
