foundations-any recs?

Hey guys! I'm a woman of color and I'm looking for a foundation powder or liquid that blends well with nice coverage. I have combination skin. Any recommendations?

i use mary kay and I love it. I used to use Bobbi Brown but I returned it because I found that for the price it did not do anything special.

my mum has dry skin and uses MK. buttt I have combination skin, just like you, and I have a problem controlling oiliness and I have large pores. I use CG's TruBlend, the liquid formula [though Im investing in the whipped pretty soon], and my shade is Toasted Almond.

it gives great coverage, and topped with powder [I use Revlon's Soft Flex, atm], it lasts me all day. it doesnt clog my pores or make me break out, and it doesnt rub off on my clothes, which is a plus, because I wear uniforms at school.

I recommend this for everyone, because some brands, like maybelline, are only made for girls with perfect skin.

oh, and one more thing - I live in Louisiana, where its like, hella humid all the damn time [you wouldnt believe the rain we've been getting], and if you use a decent powder, it wont melt; but if you're gonna be outside for ages and ages, and if you sweat a lot, youre done for until you can retouch in a mirror.

hope that helps!

Hi..You should try Mary kay medium coverage foundation. Absolutely the best foundation I've ever tried. I use to be a total mac whore but mac absolutely did nothing for me but break me out and oxidize within 2 hours of application. Mary kays foundation is extremely lightweight and that was important to me. With other foundations I feel like I have a mask on. I'm Bronze 708, it blends like a dream and stays all day. Give it a try. I'm sure you'll love it.

haha, thats what my mum uses, diamondprincess! I cant remember which shade she's in, but she totally loves it. so if TruBlend isnt for you, then the MK foundation certainly will!

I've been actually wanting to try Mary Kay for a while now, and this is a good opportunity since the medium coverage foundation seems to be really good
