Friend rant

Sorry but I have to type it in capital letters to vent!

IS IT SO COMPLICATED TO CALL ME??????

Now I feel better!

And here's the story to it:

Today I planned to meet with a nice couple but she wasn't feeling very well so she called me and cancelled our date!
OK that's fine with me so I called another friend to talk to her and ask her about her plans for tonight! She told me that she just had dinner and that she'll call me back right after! That was at 7.15 p.m.!!!! Now it's 10.35 p.m. and I called and textmessaged her several times with no answer!! Argh I hate it so much you can't believe it!!!!
I mean even if she doesn't want to hang out with me she can just give me a call and tell me right?!
After 1,5 hours of no response I called another friend but she didn't answer her phone and I assumed that she'll call me back but she didn't call me either!!!

What's going on with the world right now??!?!?!

OMG i feel you honey. I called my friend to ask if she wanted to go to the mall with me and eat lunch. LAST minute she calls and was like "Oh I have to finish a project with a group at school". That could have been an excuse lol. But most of the time I try to plan stuff with friends since I dont see them much because of school work they always flake on me. I been in sacramento for 2 years and where I use to live non of my friends in LA flaked on me they go hang out with me right then and there. And now that I moved here its different.

It always seems like I'm the one who does the calling.....I really am to the point where I have my best friend who is out of state but she does call.. I've never been that social where people called me to go out, married too long. lol--It is rude not calling back though...

Yeah although im not married I am in a serious relationship so I just like sticking with my man hehe. My mom doesnt think its a normal thing for me doing that but its not like i dont want to hang out with my friends cause I do want to hang with them its just that whenever I try it just doesnt work out so I just give up until they finally call me hehe.

I'm sorry, common courtesy what??? I know what you mean. Like it's going to take too much time and effort to make a less than 1 minute phone call. I get very pissed off at that too, not just because it's rude, but it wastes my time. And I'll let you know! I don't care if you're my b/f or just a friend. No one does it to me anymore

It doesn't pay to be nice sometimes.

I totally agree.......I actually had an ex of mine do that to me MANY times...to the point where I said, you care about me then f***** act like it, or we're done, and to this day he tried to get back with me, but for someone to care about you, and coninuously blow you off.......UGH.. VV, I so know what you mean. The number of people whose contact details I've just deleted or crossed out of my address book is astounding. I used to think I had a fair few good friends, whereas now I have very few, but they also happen to be top-notch ones.

Then a year or so later they call you and you're thinking, who the heck is this? That often knocks them back for 6.
