Frist time Foundation Reqs?

This probably sounds silly but I have never really been into foundation as I have always felt it feels too 'heavy' and I was always afraid of it clogging my pores and ruining my skin if I wore it almost everyday...

I am so addicted to makeup that when I do a gorgeous dramatic eye it doesn't look quite right as my 'canvas' (skin) isn't as glowing as it could be, or it's patchy and takes away the full effect of the look.

My issue is I have highly sensitive skin (Fragrance really irriates my skin)...I don't want anything that feels heavy or looks heavy... I just want to even out the red in my skin tone.. I have tried MAC select SPF (NW15) once - I didnt like it... And I have since tried Everyday Minerals foundation which is ok.. but I want something that isn't so messy to apply.

I have heard a few people talk about Giorgio Armani Face Fabric.. I am half tempted to try it - but I wanted to get some opinions on other options first...

i dont know if that helps but i just found this review you might like it

Giorgio Armani Face Fabric: Face Fabric is described as “second skin nude makeup.” It’s actually an accurate description of how the foundation feels. The easiest way to describe the texture and feel of this foundation is to call it a tinted primer. It has much of the same texture as a silicone-based primer does (like Smashbox Photofinish), but this is clearly tinted to act like a foundation.

i found the review on another website maybe its worth checking out

I do absolutely love Estee Lauders Double Wear but its heavy coverage and i dont know if you would like it.

Theres an Estee Lauder Double Wear light too which is lighter than the original but i havent tried it yet. Im sure you could get a sample though.

Maybe you should go to a big Warehouse and get samples of different brands of make up and test the consistency at home

oh and did you try the Studio Fix Foundation? its a powder foundation and you can apply it with a brush instead of the sponge so its lightweight and not cakey looking.

I might have to make a trip and try and get samples of the Estee Lauder Double Wear light!

I haven't tired the Studio Fix Foundation yet - I only use brushes as I am allergic to the latext sponges (lucky me!).

Thanks for your help Aimee!!
