*gasp* Throwing Away MAC?!

Yes, it's true.

My So Baroque l/g went off...smelled like plastic, and not a plastic I could tolerate. I can cope with alot for MAC, but this smell was too much after awhile. Boo. So I had to bite the bullet and throw it away, as much as it pained me.

Anyone else have to toss away any of their beloved stash? Should we have a moment of silence for all the MAC that's been thrown away?

Oh yeah, I had to toss out 2 Tastis earlier this year (or was it last year?) that went waaaaay off, but that didn't bother me like So Baroque. *sniff*

Oh yup.

I had to throw away this Melton Mauve I had. It was old I think, or a fake because it had a perfumey smell to it. and wouldn't go on me. I also just threw away a lipstick I had since 1997. It smelled rancid.

When stuff goes bad, I save it in the "yucky" pile for B2M, but it always makes me sad to have to get rid of things I once liked, especially LE D/C things I can't get again! But then I get a new lipstick once I've accumulated enough stuff-gone-nasty!

Why didn't you save it for B2M?? but oh my *gasp*- i don't think i've ever thrown away MAC!! Other brands of makeup i have chucked to the side or in the bin, but never never MAC!

Thank God for B2M is all I can say! I have a yucky box, too, (when I remember it gah! *digs through trash*) but it sure does hurt me to have to take stuff out of the stash pile & put it into the junk pile! (and the LE and DC'd stuff really gives me a pang lol!)

I have a few that I am waiting to take back to MAC:

• Zoom Lash mascara that burns my eyes so it has to go.

• OH Baby lipglass which I really don't want to toss but it smells horrible. I tried to use it on my cheeks as a highlight, I tried it as an eyeshadow but no luck.

• Terra lipstick.

• Fetish lipstick.

• Fluid lipstick.

The Oh Baby hurts the most.

I just toss it into my Back 2 MAC pile. I keep all that stuff in a drawer until I have enough for one lipstick.

Same here! It was all stuff I had just gotten bored of after a while. I didn't know about MUA until this summer *sigh* I get a nervous tick when I think what brands I've just tossed away when I could have gotten something for them....

Yikes! That's a really good reason for junking them!
