i regularly use the WnW one. it's AMAZING. super quality, super price, super pigmentation! but the brush that it comes with sucks. that's the only negative though

I'll give ya a comparison review/V.S. of MAC blacktrack fluidline and L'OREAL HIP Cream eyeliner in Black *cuz these are the ones I have tried so far*

I think they are both easy to apply*you need a little practice to get it right! so I say: you can start off with the less expensive brand and then work your way to the more expensive* The brush L'OREAL HIP comes with is just horrible to me...why? it's super stiff and rough around the sensitive eye area

, it's more of an eyebrow shader if you ask me. For MAC I use the 266 brush *it doesn't come with the product but just an option for ya* and it works great for me.

MAC is a bit less black when you compare both side by side in a swatch but MAC lasts a looonger time than the L'OREAL and MAC doesn't smudge!*L'OREAL kind of did for me at the end of the day...specially if is humid outside*

Hope this helps!

I agree 100% with cherrymint. The H.I.P brush hurts A LOT when you use it on your eyes. The M.A.C blacktrack for me is like butter when you apply it, great formula. The H.I.P liner isn't as good of quality as M.A.C (of course) it's formula is thicker. The l'oreal one is very prone to smudging so better at night, while M.A.C is great for all day wear!

I use MAC's blacktrack and i love it.
It's very black and stays for so long without smudging.

I'm really upset with my L'Oreal liners, as theyre gorgeous, but not as smooth. They come out kind of gritty.

I'm currently on the market for a new liner love.

I personally use the Coastal Scents gel liner, and I use their Taklon Liner/Concealer brush to apply it. I may try to find a more suitable brush for this, but for now it works decently. As for the liner themselves, I LOVE the True Black!! It has a great texture and REALLY stays put. When I first got it, I sampled it on my hand and it took a lot of scrubbing to get the product off once it dried. Definitely recommend if you want a cheaper alternative (~$7 + shipping) to other brands, IMHO.

If you're looking for a basic black gel eyeliner..

MAC Fluidline - easy to apply, good staying power, doesn't smudge

Loreal HIP Creamliner - good if you're on a budget, has more product in it than MAC, doesn't give as nice of a colour payoff as other brands, throw away the brush!!

MUFE Aquablack Cream Eyeshadow - waterproof (stays on FOREVER), multipurpose (can be used as a base, liner, or eyeshadow), easy to apply, has more product than both MAC & Loreal but is also more expensive

Smashbox Jetset - waterproof, same amount of product as MAC, a little harder to work with as it dries so quickly

Out of all of them, i reach for Makeup Forever and MAC most often.

I have the Sonia Kashuk gel liner in Black. I haven't tried any others, so I can't compare it to them, but I do like this one. I use the Sephora Platinum Slanted Eye Liner Brush to apply it. It usually lasts all day for me, although I often end up with a little on my waterline. It's cheaper than the L'Oreal HIP one (unless you get that one on sale) by a couple of bucks. All in all, I'd say it's fine . . . nothing great, but not bad, either.

I like MAC f/l, BB and Prescriptives gel liners. I like to use MAC #210 or #208 and I also like BB ultra fine liner brush.

I use the Clonique one in brown and it's awesome! I've never used fluidline, but I think the clinique one is probably very comparable. This stuff stays on ALL day without smudging at all-even on my lower lash line. It's very smooth and really pigmented.

I have used the coastal scents gel liner, MAC fluidline and Stila smudge pot in black! I couldn't really get on with the coastal scents one as it was too dry texture for me to really smooth it on.

MAC's fluidline is really easy and creamy to apply on! I have it in Dipdown only because I prefer Stila's smudgepot as they have a darker black! Both I find just as easy to apply!

I use my MAC 209 eyeliner brush to apply my gel liners. It's really easy though it's a bit tricky at the beginning!

Blacktrack used to be my fav but I've been using BB and it's blown me away! IMHO it's more of a deeper black, more buttery in texture and LASTS.

hey Samy,

I just started using Mac Fluidline recently and I gotta say it's awesome. My liquid eyeliner from Loreal is also awesome but it tends to try out quicker so i have to keep adding water into it...This gel eyeliner, omg, it's really dark so i love it....and although i haven't been using it for that long, i gotta say, it takes time and practice on how to apply it correctly...u gotta make sure u don't go over it too many times, otherwise it will dry out, but other than that, this is my next fav liner next to Loreal Lineur Intense Eyeliner.
