Gesso vs MAC pro White

Just wondering if anyone owns both, and which do you prefer? I have Gesso, but I feel it doesn't come out white enough.

But it's probably becuase I have a reg primer, not for eyes...

I own the yellow pro color and the purple and I think they both suck. They're hard to use and not very easy to blend, it really is a pain to get it bright out of the pan. Yeah, it makes a difference with the primer.. maybe you'd be better trying a white in a different finish like crystal avalanche? or intead of mac hard candy has a nice white I believe and NYX always a good choice for colors. I also think that L'oreal hip has a white in their pigments but I could be utterly mistaken.

Thank you soo much! Yeah I gave up and got UDPP, and it comes out much better! But I think I'll end up getting Crystal avalanche in the future, and see if I get better payoff with that

Gesso does not compare to Pure White. I prefer Pure White over Gesso, it's a truer white. I'm NC50
