getting hair done tomorrow.. confused!!

i'm getting my hair cut and dyed tomorrow, but im not exactly sure whether to just get highlights, or lighten my hair AND highlights. i've never gotten highlights or a dye job professionally done. here's a picture of me:

Get two shades of highlights, one shade a few steps lighter, then the other shade a LOT lighter.

take the pictures with you so the stylist knows exactly what you want.
