how do you get the boldest/most solid color of a lipgelee? to make it show on your lips as it shows in the tube? any tips are greatly appreciated!

I would line and fill my lips with a l/l a little lighter than my mouth and then use a lip brush to put the gelee on. It is a pretty sheer product though, at least the one I have, so I don't know if a really strong color pay off is possible.

I agree. I have one I should of brought back but didn't. I found a use of it by just applying it over the same color family lipstick. I love the way it looks that way but I won't repurchase.

Lip Gelees aren't meant to be bold. If you want something really bold you can try Lip Laquers, or even Lip Glass.

You could line/fill your lips with the closest color match in a lip pencil then put the Lip Gelee over that. For example:

Line then fill your lips with Plum Royale, apply Moistly Gelee
Line then fill your lips with Cranapple, apply She Boom Gelee

I find the Creme Stick liners help the sheerness of the Lip Gelee pop more because some of them do have a shimmer.

but...

Like everybody said earlier, Lip Gelees are MEANT to be sheer. So if you want more color pay-off, I'd say go with ChromeGlass and LustreGlass.

LipGelees are very sheer and made to look that way. To get the same colour as it shows on the tube, you'll have to find a similar colour in lipstick form then apply the lipgelee!!

Try LipLacquers instead, the colour comes up the same as in the tube!!

As far as Lipgelee's, I'm going with the pack. They're much more sheer, try going with Lacquers.
