MAC glaze finishes goes on like an Amplified or like what? I'm looking at Spiced Tea from Warm & Cozy online and I'm putting my order together (no time to get to the mall)...help! Thanks!

Glaze is the sheerest finish by a long shot, you will get a mix of your natural lipcolour and the tube color when you apply it. You won't get a whole lot of color out of it. It tones your lips more than changes the color if that makes sense. HTH!

In addition to what gildedangel said Glazes on me feel like they just sit on top of my lips and they cannot "breathe". Sounds weird, but I do not know how to explain it.
I personally do not like them for this reason.

Ok this helps! I was hoping it would come out like Amplified. It's such a pretty color on the site. Darn. Thanks ladies!

I have Hue. When I apply it directly to my lips, it just mutes their natural color a bit (they're very pigmented). It's a nice seminude lip.

When I want the color to be more opaque, I apply Hue over a light lipliner. For instance, I have Rimmel's Tiramisu, which is a midtone warm peachy color, and if I apply Hue over that, it looks warmer and makes a much more nude lip.

they're the polar opposites in colour payoff! but i quite like glaze's for when i have a darker eye look... means my lips still get colour but it's not ott
