glimmer shimmers

wooohooo have only just found these and Im in lurve - they are sooooooo lush when used with the 187 brush.....definitely my new hg of mac

I like them a lot, too! They lend a dewy, iridescent finish (and can be used on cheeks, eyes and lips), and they're soo pretty! *Perfect* for highlighting, and can even be used as blusher..

Unfortunately, we seem to be in the minority; I haven't heard of many people liking them..in fact quite the opposite..I think part of the problem is the pump dispenser..many don't like that it can dispense too much product at once, and is wasteful...However, for me it is of minimal concern, as the product itself is so effective.

I like mine 2 beacuse like the other person said they give a really nice dewey finish. But yeah the pump freaking sucks major ass i mean seriously you dont need to use alot of the liquid but the pump gives out 3x more then you need evertime which is a huge waste imo

I just press the pump gently on mine into my artists pallet and then swirl my brush around and one pump is the perfect amount for both cheeks. perhaps it helps as the 187 is larger brush?

well i think it also depends on what color your using for certain colors the pump might give out the right amount but i have shock and shine which is a pretty hot pink so its just wayyy 2 much haha

Etiquette was the BOMB! Specially on tanned skin,. I had a million people stopping me every time I wore it this past summer,.. I also have On the Town and Orange Twink too and they are really pretty. I think the pink one that is coming out with Barbie will be a must have,... And yes they are greatly underrated,.. give such a natural finish glowy finish.

I would really like to try these. I am a fair skin gal, what color do you reccommend? Or does anyone have swatches of the real colors since the internet is not the best for determining the true color?

I love Glimmer Shimmers I use Shock & Shine ( bright pink with gold shimmer) and Nothing Sweeter ( a darker purple). I wish they weren't in glass vials though because my niece chucked one across the bathroom once. The pump does squirt too much out so you have to be really careful. You can really use them where ever?

I love Glimmer Shimmers, I have Etiquette and On the Town. I like mixing them with my foundations or on my cheeks.

I am another GlimmerShimmer fan. I have Ritzy! and Sweet & Shy. Ritzy! has to be the most perfect shimmering colour for my cheeks, I use it quite a lot and Sweet & Shy is perfect for highlighting. I press very gently and slowly and get a half pump which is adequate for an application. Slowly and gently does it, the pumps could definitely be improved though.

Ahh I love my Orange Twink. I use it all over the apples of my cheeks then dab a bit of Virgin Isle CCB over top. Makes the CCB a dream to blend in and gives a great glowy peachy/coral cheek

Am i right to apply my orange twink glimmershimmer in the following order:

liquid fdt > tarte tipsy w/ orange twink on cheeks > loose powder

somehow the glimmershimmer looks wayyy prettier when i swatch it on hand..am i doing something wrong ?

It works well with the smaller brush that is like the 187 (I forget the number, maybe 188). It's a softer look than using your fingers. I have several on my sell list but have several more that I use.

I love these!!! I got my first 2 with the Icon collection, orange twink and sweet and shy. Just received the Shock & Shine in the mail today and I am in LOVE!!!!!! I will def. be getting them all....maybe I will include one in each new order until I have them all lol.

I love these too, they're great. I have on the town and sweet and shy, and ive just discovered this week that theyr great to mix with your moisuriser in the morning, gives me a nice glow

I'm bumping this thread because they had a few of these at my local CCO and I had no idea what they were or what they were used for. Looks like I'll be making a trip back there tomorrow!

Anyone still have these or still use these? Any more ideas or suggestions on how I can use them?

I got one from CCO and i dont like it. My skin is oily and this thing gave me even more shiny look. So its not my type of thing I guess.
