i saw the pictures and they look really pretty but i dont know if i NEED them. i was wondering if they go on noticeable the first time or do you have to apply more than once.and is it easy to apply? if anyone has a picture of just the glittler liner on a bare eye i would love to see it. tia

Some yes, others no need. And it also depends on eye colors imo. I was going to egt GlamourGold and Mercuric and ended up buying GG and Peacocky. I'm ok with GG, but it's not as wow as I thought it would be, but peacocky makes my brown eyes pop. So I'm very impressed with that one, though I hear it does nada for blue eyes.

The pink one requires several coats to show up-if I do use it, I just put it over a pink shadow to add some bling, not as a liner.

I don't understand why they brought that one back, but didn't bring back Divine Lime.

I just bought Peacocky and I'm not that impressed on my first use. It's cute though and it adds a little something! I agree with putting the glitter liner over a shadow, it shows up much better for me.

I used Peacocky over top of Blue Peep today to intensify the color. Pretty cool! I like the glitter liners because, well, #1 I love anything that sparkles, but #2 and most importantly I'm relatively aged compared to most of you and love glitter but don't want to look like I'm wearing some 16 year olds glitter, see? And MAC's Glitter Liners can go on extremely subtle if you want. Just a narrow whisper of a glitter line. I know it's there, and those who love glitter do to, but the powers that be in my conservative office don't notice. Loves it! I have Copperfield, Oxidate, Mercuric and Peacocky. But really...put Peacocky over a line of Blue Peep, step back and admire.

Actually I have blue eyes and bought Peacocky, wore it tonight, wasn't bad, everyone kept staring at my eyes. I like teal with my eyes, only as an accent tho, I only wore it on the bottom.

I'm LOVIN' Peacocky....it's a definite keeper!!!!

I just bought Peacocky tonight and I love it. Of course, after getting home from the mall I had to play with my new stuff. So I wore Peacocky with the new Stars and Rockets e/s with a tinge of Steamy e/s and it looked HOT!!!! Too bad I don't have a camera available to me right now or else I'd show you guys....sorry Charlie's!!!!

For those who have the 04 Glitter Liners, here as some swatches I did for comparison.

In the included image, all previous releases on colors are the ones on top, whereas new glitter liners are below the originals.

Spunsilver: There is not much of a difference between these two. The only difference I could see is that there were a few more iridescent flecks than the original, but that was it! Verdict: No need to get this is you already have it.

Saucepot: Major difference here. MAC has once again reinvented this color, and it is even better than before. It reminds me of Blue Peep with glitter...just fantastic. Glitter liners from '04 is the first swiped. It is more of a midnight blue than I.E. release and has less glitter, but color payoff is comparable. Rock It Sacuepot has almost no color payoff, but features a plum purple glitter. I.E. Saucepot has a generous amount of blue and iridescent glitter suspended in a heavy payoff base that rivals the colors of Blue Peer. Verdict: I.E. Saucepot is such a difference that I think it is worth getting.

Mercuric: Glitter Liners 04 has minimal charcoal color payoff with dark grey, some black and some iridescent glitter. There is a difference in the I.E. liners, as this Mercuric has more color payoff, more of light gray base with light gray and iridescent sparkles. Verdict: Yes there is a difference, but I wasn't too thrilled with the color of the I.E. Mercuric

Pinkphonic: Glitter Liner 04 is a bit darker in its base color than I.E. liner, but the glitter is about the same color and quantity. Verdict: If you want something a little lighter, go for it, but there was such a minimal difference that I skipped.

Galmourgold: Glitter Liner 04 has more of a nice muted gold color payoff and has more gold glitter. I.E. liner has much less color payoff, but MAC has substituted some of the gold glitter for iridescent sparkle. Verdict: I like the 04 rendition due to gold sparkle, plus there isn't nearly as much color payoff in the I.E. release.

Peakcocky: Pretty much about the same. Verdict: No need to get this re-release unless you want backups or never bought it in the first place.

I hope this helps

I find mine is peeling off before the end of the day. Otherwise normal wash witha ace cloth, brushed over eyes and comes right off, no problems. There are a few flecks of glitter, but even when I get tehm in my eye tehy don't bother me.
