For those who have the 04 Glitter Liners, here as some swatches I did for comparison.
In the included image, all previous releases on colors are the ones on top, whereas new glitter liners are below the originals.
Spunsilver: There is not much of a difference between these two. The only difference I could see is that there were a few more iridescent flecks than the original, but that was it! Verdict: No need to get this is you already have it.
Saucepot: Major difference here. MAC has once again reinvented this color, and it is even better than before. It reminds me of Blue Peep with glitter...just fantastic. Glitter liners from '04 is the first swiped. It is more of a midnight blue than I.E. release and has less glitter, but color payoff is comparable. Rock It Sacuepot has almost no color payoff, but features a plum purple glitter. I.E. Saucepot has a generous amount of blue and iridescent glitter suspended in a heavy payoff base that rivals the colors of Blue Peer. Verdict: I.E. Saucepot is such a difference that I think it is worth getting.
Mercuric: Glitter Liners 04 has minimal charcoal color payoff with dark grey, some black and some iridescent glitter. There is a difference in the I.E. liners, as this Mercuric has more color payoff, more of light gray base with light gray and iridescent sparkles. Verdict: Yes there is a difference, but I wasn't too thrilled with the color of the I.E. Mercuric
Pinkphonic: Glitter Liner 04 is a bit darker in its base color than I.E. liner, but the glitter is about the same color and quantity. Verdict: If you want something a little lighter, go for it, but there was such a minimal difference that I skipped.
Galmourgold: Glitter Liner 04 has more of a nice muted gold color payoff and has more gold glitter. I.E. liner has much less color payoff, but MAC has substituted some of the gold glitter for iridescent sparkle. Verdict: I like the 04 rendition due to gold sparkle, plus there isn't nearly as much color payoff in the I.E. release.
Peakcocky: Pretty much about the same. Verdict: No need to get this re-release unless you want backups or never bought it in the first place.
I hope this helps
