Glitter primer?

I've tried using eyeshadow primer and creme eyeshadow (MAC and Too Faced) but I can't get glitter to hold in place very well. I've tried the HIP Eye Color Extender but I can't line very well despite using it...

I want to line my eyes with glitter versus full lids (I've been using the MAC pigments kind, pixie dust, and tony&tina).

What's a good product to hold loose glitter in place?

The eyeliner mixing medium gel from mac pro is what you need! Its thick enough to hold the glitter in place. You mix them together and then line your eyes with a brush.

There is a thread on this you should read... I think its under product safety... but yeah. Be REALLY careful... I use eyeliner mixing medium but you've got to get the ratio just right... don't use a lot of glitter... and be careful taking it off... If this gets in your eyes it can scratch your cornea and cause permanent damage.

MAC Glittercreme is a glittery base that I love. It's discontinued, but you can find it on ebay. The FOTD I posted today has a pic where I used it.
