There's no possible way to stop glosses or emollients like Vaseline from creasing on your eyelids. Gloss eyes are strictly a photoshoot only kind of thing, as you have to touch-up and remove the crease that appears every time the model blinks.

We've discussed this in the styling forum of Model Mayhem a billion times, and the combined brainpower over there hasn't come up with any solutions for glossy eyes.

I know MAC used to make eyeglasses, but I don't think they were very popular. And they probably creased.

I want to try a super-smoky eye sometime with a touch of gloss on the lower lid! Sort of the Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow thing. That probably wouldn't crease as much... though I bet it would smear.

i personally HATE the glossy eyed look even on models
i use to have an eye gloss by rimmel that was in black with some silver sparkles

everytime id look at it id be like WTF did i get this? why are you here? so one day i just threw it away
haha

but im preety shure its still available.

like laura said though you cant really prevent glosses from feeling sticky and collecting in your crease.

Super high maintainence look.
It *will* work, sorta, if you either use the gloss alone or mix pigment in the gloss first and smear it on, fake eyelashes (b/c mascara will migrate) and if you're prepared to every single time you go to the loo to "redistribute" the gloss. And you can't use liner, shadow or anything else.
Mostly I find the gloss useful in real life to give that aforementioned black smeared Kate Moss/Captain Jack Sparrow raccooon look. Then the mess is part of it.

Would maybe mixing it with a translucent powder and priming the eye with powder help it hold in place? I've seen people do it, and it appears successful, but it's probably being touched up every 2 minutes behind closed doors. i'd like to try it, it's really saucy and i like that.
