Glowy Dewy Look

Hi guys!
I've been thinking about trying Mac's strobe cream but wondered if anyone had any other ideas for glowy dewy skin? I have not tried the natural mineralised skin powders, would this do the same thing? Is there any other products good for this look? (I currently use highlight, and either bronzer or blush)

Strobe Cream is awesome, but if you have access to NARS, then I highly recommend their Multiple in Copacabana. I am a highlighter FREAK, so you could say that I've tried em all, and this is hands down the best one. The Mineralize Skinfinish Naturals are used as a powder foundation, but the regular MSF's are decent highlighters. A little too glittery and artificial for my taste, but it's all a matter of opinion.

actually, the MSFN aren't used as a powder foundation. its just a powder. they are two completely different things. they have a natural finish, so it looks like your skin.

ithica-if you're wanting to achieve this look with a foundation, try the mineralize satinfinish foundation. it gives a natural satin finish-your skin with a soft glow.

or you can use strobe cream underneath foundation as a moisturizer, or use a regular moisturizer under your foundation with strobe liquid applie on top.

i like origins halo effect mixed with my studio fix fluid. you could mix strobe cream with your liquid foundation too. when i applied strobe cream as a moisturizer, it didn't do as much as when i mixed it with my foundation. i also recently got clinique shimmerbricks or something like that at a CCO. i like it better than MSF's because there's no obvious glitter like some of the msf's have.

I'm not strobe-crazy, I like a lil pearl cream colour base as a high light and the only advice I would say for a dewy look is to stay away from mattifying powders and stay more liquids and creams

The MSF Naturals CAN be used as a foundation, depending on how much coverage you want etc. Personally, I think they can give a pretty nice glowy finish- especially with a spritz of fix+ on top, after you've buffed it all in nicely... but you won't be getting much coverage!

Of course, there are highlighters that can give you a glow too- where you put them. If you want a glowy face in general though, unless you want to put highlighter all over your face, I'd try to find a glowy foundation and/or other glowy face products too!

What skintone are you? I would actually personally recc. MSF Natural if you don't need to much coverage- the new mineralized loose is ok.. but MSF N is more glowy... together with a highlight like Emphasize if you're super pale like me (NW15), and probably a sheertone shimmer blush. The older MSFs are nice for blush- and aren't glittery, but they're a bit hard to find. Light Flush is also good to use for a glowy look, over a blush if your skin is a bit darker than mine.

As for strobe... I have it, but I'm not that keen on it.. Use it under your foundation if you want to try that I suppose... or I think I read about someone using the new strobe liquid (a TINY BIT) dabbed gently onto the cheekbones after foundation and buffed in?... Each to their own I suppose
