Hi All!

Going on a holiday to a beautiful tropical island - I need to take make up of course - which 4 eyeshadows would you recommend to take?

I have over 150 eyeshadows so I have a lot to choose from.

Do you think I should go nude/netural or bold and bright?

I'm nc15 if that helps - brown eyes, and dark brown hair!

Thank you all!

I would go for neutral with sparkles. You want your eyes be the focus of attention in the sun, not the colour of your shadows !

Um, you could take a quad that can be mixed up a little - a neutral, a highlighter, a dark and a bright. I tend to use Satin Taupe or something similar as a neutral - it goes with everthing on this planet and a range of brights and darks. I usually take Next To Nothing as a highlighter (or Your Ladyship pressed) because they are pretty universal as well. For a dark its usually I like Stately Black, again it goes with everything, and a bright depends on how I feel, I like Romping, but Parrot is good too and they both go with all the other colours. You can make any of them smokey or simple, dressed up or down and a mixed but complementary palette is best for me

Swimming
Going Bananas or Chrome Yellow

I really like this idea

I think teal and copper/brown have a nice tropical feel to them, so I would take Shroom to highlight, Romp as a neutral, Smut as the dark colour, and Shimmermoss as the bright colour.

yup i'm with panda too!

i'd go with dazzlelight for a highlight (or this even looks good all over the lid)
amber lights for an all over lid colour or crease colour
woodwinked for a crease colour
and then a blue like freshwater to use as a liner or even a crease or lid colour

have fun on the island by the way!

One neutral colour for highlight, green, blue e/s and a dark colour (I'll take carbon with me).

Have fun!

My favorite quad to take for travel is my bronzy/neutral one, which contains shroom, wedge, woodwinked and mulch!
