Hey loves. So I'm going to London in December and I was wondering what I should buy from there? Are there any good brands I should check out? Ohhh and are there any brands that are cheaper there than in the states?

Tell me everything I need to know!

Very few things (if any) are cheaper than in the USA but you might find some brands which you have never heard of or are rare in the USA. Check out H&M as they usually have stuff at great prices although the Stella McCartney collection will have long vanished by the time you get here I'd imagine.

London is very expensive but some things are free. I posted quite a few suggestions of what to do in London for a previous visitor here.

One store which has a lot of interesting stuff is Liberty on Regent Street which is worth a visit even if you don't actually buy anything. Selfridges on Oxford Street is worth some time too.

You also won't find Uniqlo or Mango in the USA and both have large stores within walking distance of Liberty on Regent Street.

I hope this gives you some ideas for starters.

In West Soho, in the same little CUTE area as the MAC Prostore, 28 Fouberts Place... there is a restaurant a little farther down called Yo! Sushi where you pick your sushi as it goes by on a conveyor belt, and pay per bowl. It is SO cool. I ate there alone and loved it.

isn't that just the CUTEST street? Especially with a MAC Prostore on it

Make sure you go to BOND street and shop in all of the expensive stores! I bought a Burberry scarf + gloves set at burberry for only 49.99 pounds! (about 75 usd?)

You also have to try some quick sandwiches to go at Pret a Manger, and try some McDonalds fries, they taste hella different!

I LOVE LONDON!

Another eatery worth trying that's very near to the M·A·C Pro store is Ping Pong Dim Sum. Strange though it may seem, London is one of the top cities in the world for restaurants and you can find all sorts of world cuisine there. If someone is looking for a particular food type or good food to suit a particular budget I can probably make some recommendations.

That's about $84 now. There is a good online currency converter here
