I work at a school and have a graduation party for 7th grade to attend this week. (Talk about feeling old, I mean, 7TH GRADE!!! How long ago was that? LOL)
I plan on wearing dressy black pants, heels and this really pretty bright blue button up shirt I got at Express. I need some ideas on a look to go with it. I know you don't necessarily have to match your makeup with your clothes, but I think it would be really cool to wear something that complements the awesome blue color of my shirt. I want to look fun and classy at the same time. Help!!

Personally, if I were wearing such a bright shirt, I'd only do a matching or similar color as an accent. I love to wear a light neutral on the lid with a pop of bright liner on the bottom lashline. My fave right now is Jardin Aires pigment wet on the lid with MM, then line the bottom lashes with Milani Color Brilliance e/l in Green or Aqua. It's a tasteful way to tie the color in without screaming, "Hey, my eye makeup matches my shirt!" LOL. I just don't like to be too matchy.

Yeah, with such a bright color I didn't want to be too matchy either. I also thought possibly of tying in the color with other blues in the same color family, but I don't know it what I have will work. The only blues I have are Contrast, Tilt, and Moon's Reflection. I'll have to check out that Jardin Aires because I don't have too many light neutrals. Thanks!
