Hey!!

Does anyone know a good glitter eyeliner in gold?? Dont mind if its a pencil or liquid as long as it does the job,I want it to stand out. Do you think putting the gold glitter from Mac would work & what id need to use with it???

Thankyou!

You could use some Gold Glitter, Mixing Medium, and a fine brush to apply it so it looks like liner

Yup. You should use the waterbase mixing medium with MAC glitters as an eyeliner. MAC also has a glitter eyeliner called glamourgold. I believe it was an Asia exclusive item. You can find it on eBay or check the sales thread as someone might have one up for sale

Just be careful if you plan to use the glitter pigments around your eye as they're not eyesafe. I have Glamourgold glitterliner and love using it. Find it if you can, it's much less messy than mixing your own!

I LOVE UD heavy metal glitter liner in baked.
Also, if you are in Canada, try Lise Watier liquid glitter liners (but hurry, they were from the holiday collection!)

Yes, you could use that, sometimes I use the eyeliner mixing medium but either will work.

Queuing up here with the other folks who've recommended Urban Decay's "baked" Heavy Metal glitter liner. It's quite a warm, bronzey gold colour which works really well with brown/hazel eyes and I bet also with green eyes, it's really flattering and IMHO the best of the UD glitter liners... they're all good don't get me wrong, but "Baked" rocks...

Water based mixing medium is NOT going to make a good glitter liner. It will make a good liner out of an eye safe pigment or shadow, but it doesn't have enough adhesive property to hold glitter as a liner without it getting into the eye (think of dipping your brush in water and glitter, thats essentially what you'd be doing). If you want to make your own glitter liner, i suggest picking up the MAC Pro Eyeliner Mixing Medium, it's a gel so it coats the glitter flecks and holds them in place so that no shards end up in the eye. Otherwise try Benefit SheLaq or premade glitter liners: Too Faced and Urban Decay both have EXCELLENT ones!

OMG guys!!

I went to UD today and bought 4 of the 5 heavy metal glitter liners. Gold-Baked, Headbanger-Purple, Mullet-Green and Air Guitar-Light Blue. They're great, but I forgot to get the Primer Potion!! I NEED to try that.

I think i'm gonna try the Gel mixing medium with the gold Mac glitter too.
