Gold Leafing....help?

Alright, i need some gold leafing...i've decided to go for the Rococo look for that party. Using black and gold. (Black Tied and Noble e/s)

[insert silly phrase]i looooooooooooooooove goooooooooooooooooooollld[/insert silly phrase]

Now i need nelp finding gold leafing materials for the skin. Help? Where can i get it? or perhaps i can make do by speckling Noble? GAH!

If you can't get your paws on some MAC gold leaf, try the gold leaf they use in cake making. You can find this at most craft stores. Make sure you buy the one that can be used in food decoration for safety!!

I would try for the gold leaf that MAC offers, but in times of need, I've been known to go to the local craft store and grab a normal package of gold leave and apply with baby oil....hehe, desperate times call for desperate measures!

Maybe you can apply some golden e/s through a piece of lace, might look great too!

the craft store for leafing- and use eyelash glue or something similar to make it stick- i say e/l glue cause t's known to be safe for your skin!

onederland- I have Mac gold leaf- and I got it on ebay for 9.99 for 25 sheets. I'd suggest you check there

Post the look when you do it! (and let me know how! I'm having a hell of a time figurin out this gold leaf stuff lol)

The MAs at my counter were doing makeup on a bunch of girls for a fashion show a few weeks ago, and they put various colors e/s (could have been pigment) through doilies applied to the models' faces. It was really pretty. (I realize that's not the look you are going for).
