haha

My question is... What are some really really light eyeshadow colours? I'm really fair and I find it hard to get that gorgeous, BAM!, highlight happening :p I generally use MAC but I'm open to trying other brands. I swear by MAC's Phloof! and use it every day and love it but I was wondering if there's anything even lighter than that? I'd prefer it frosted, but let me know about matte's too if you want! I occasionally use MAC's Vanilla but find it's too matte for me.

Hmm, what do you think?

Thanks!

I think ploof is already as light as you can get. But try vanilla eyeshadow, maybe starfalsh's grand entrace if you want super frosty. Another would be nylon eyeshadow.

As for matte i think you would look great in bisque

Why don't you try pigments. I'm NC15 and when I really want my highligh yo pop I use Frost p/g

I use Dazzlelight A LOT!! Vanilla pigment would work if you wanted just a gold sheen for your highlight. For matte looks, I use Blanc Type.

Gesso is pure white and matte ... i love it for when I need a matte highlight on my brow-bone. I am super pale and the traditional highlight colors (rice paper, nylon, phloof, ect) and too dark for me.

If you want a frosty white you might want to try crystal avalanche (veluxe pearl) or white frost (frost) eye shadow. They are both on my wishlist

vanilla pigment is definately worth checking into. you could also check into nars albatross and urban decay polyester bride and vapour e/s.

I love Phloof!
It's the highlight color I use most, but I also like Nylon (for warmer looks) and Crystal Avalanche (if I want something lighter and brighter than Phloof!).

i'd agree with most of these girls,
crystal avalanche is def worth checking into.
i use vanilla pigment most of the time but that's just cause i love it..and truthfully..(this might sound odd) i more then often even use the highlight side of the brow powder duo from mac, it gives me a nice light shimmer but nothing to out there, i LOVE it as a highlight.

Agreed! I'm an NC15/20 and I use these two all the time! Another good thing to do, IMO, is to take Gesso (matte white) and cover it with vanilla pigment. That way I'm getting that BAM color but it has a sheen to it.

I would also suggest Shroom e/s. I like to use it on my everyday looks, it's a satin finish so it gives a nice sheen and isn't as overwhelmingly shimmery as Frost p/g can be.

My all time favorite is Sunday Best.. but unfortunately they discontinued it long ago (it was LE..I think). I only have a LITTLE bit of it left and it was this gorgeous shimmery (but not at all glittery), satiny, SUPER pale pink color. I'm really fair too and it's my favorite highlight color, but I only use it on special occasions now because I'm almost out :[ The only color that has ever come close to it (for me) was Shore Leave from NN. Grand Entrance is a pretty highlight color but not at all light enough to look absolutely natural on super pale girls like me.. Nylon is a good color too and Vanilla eyeshadow doesn't provide a lot of contrast on me but it DOES add some highlight. Shroom is more like a lid color for me, not a highlight. If you can find Sunday Best it's soo worth it.. Otherwise I'd say Nylon or Crystal Avalanche too.
