Good foundation/powder

Hey,
I have light/medium skin and look washed out really easy and stuff either looks orange on me or I look dead and washed out. I have pinkish undertones. I also break out very easily, my skin is more oily. I can't find a good foundation or powder that last a long time, has good coverage, looks natural, and doesn't break me out. I clean my brushes and everything and wash my face and have a good skin care regime, but my skin stays broken out. Can anyone recomend a good foundation.

Also, I can't find a good shade of blush to go with my skin tone

Any recomendation would be greatly appreciated!!!

Cover FX has stuff specifically for acne prone skin. The powder foundation is pretty good. I only use it because there's a colour light enough for me. The coverage can be built up to medium but they have really good concealers if you're looking for one. I would recommend everything from that brand really. Maybe try the matte powder as well.

If you're looking for something that will look natural, won't break you out, stay on and will match your skin tone, try MACs Select Tint SPF 15. Sounds like you would be an NW if foundations tend to look orange, or you might be using shades that are too dark. I recommend going to a MAC store and asking one of the makeup artists to try a few of their foundations, get a sample, use it for a few days and see how it works with your skin.

Hope this helped!

Good coverage, you can try Make Up For Ever's Mat Velvet Foundation, they have excellent coverage, but you look made up, like most foundations with a matte finish. You could ask for a sample of Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation to see if it breaks you out.

As for powder, I'm currently using Yves Saint-Laurent's "Poudre Sur Mesure", their pressed powder is very sheer, looks natural and controls my oily complexion very well.

Thanks for the advice you guys. I'll let you know how the samples work out when I get ahold of them.
