Good gold eyeshadow

My favorite gold shadow is from the L'Oreal "Gilded" HIP Metallic Duo. Fanstastic shade!

I find that putting on a silver or gold paint or pot underneath really helps to intensify the color and give it more of a shimmer/metal look. Might even work with a white underneath. I go with Gorgeous Gold because the lightness of it helps catch the light a bit more... it looks more gilded to me. Though, no I wouldn't really call it a true gold... I'm still looking for one that is easier to achieve than layering on a bunch of different golds. Though, if bronze suits your coloring well.. I think it's easier to find a true bronze and sometimes they can be prettier and more flattering than a gold.

I am very fair with pink tones as well. And I adore Bare Escentuals "True Gold". So pretty!
