this is what i had b4
shampoo_suave (didnt like good smell thou)
cond_w/e was in the shower
hair serum_biosilk (left hair greasy after a day)
hair spray_suave (curls fell)

my hair is thin and healthy(have top highlights )
this is how i style it when its washed
i add a detangler
i dry it with a blow dryer with my hands loosely
then i do spiral curls with an iron.

this is what i have now and i love them

shampoo _ smoothsexyhair
cond_smoothsexyhair
leave in detangler_healthysexyhair

i dont know if i need a hair serum and whether or not i can use a type of hairspray b4 i curl my hair.... but i know i need one after b/c if i dont put any on my curls fall after 3hrs... so please help!!! thanks so much <3

I use Redken Forceful before AND after I curl my hair. It helps the curls last. I also use a mousse while my hair is damp and sort of scrunch it but not a ton or it will get crunchy. That also helps because it adds a little texture and adds staying power.

Have you tried the Kenra line? I am a hairstylist and love their products...their hairsprays range very very strong hold to a lite hold....and they all smell wonderfull

I have long, thin hair, which I dry and then curl. After I dry my hair I spray with Elnett (made by Loreal), coating it really well. Then I use curling iron and spray again. The curls hold all day and night, and the hairspray brushes right out. You can buy Elnett at Target now, it's $15.00 a can. (and it smells GREAT!)

I have super fine hair that is really thick in weight and is really long.. so it took me a while to find a routine that would hold my curls too! So I've been there

Here's what I do now and it definitely holds my curls all day long.

-You need to use SOME kind of heat protectant.. I like Loma Peratin Smoothing Serum because it protects and adds shine and smoothness without weighing your hair down. It can be hard to find... so I like Redken Heat Glide as well.

-Bumble and Bumble Spray De Mode is hands down my favorite hairspray. They took two+ years to develop it so they got this hairspray down to the wire. It has flexible hold, smells nice, and brushes out quite easily. I spray each section of hair that I'm curling lightly with this hairspray before I curl it, then I comb through it so it's completely smooth, then curl it.

-When I'm done with my entire head I mist my entire head lightly with Spray de Mode.

You might also want to try pinning your curls up with bobby pins while they're cooling off so it "sets" the curls. YouTube has a ton of videos on how to do this.
