Good Hairsprays

I've never used hairspray before so I have no idea which hairspray products are good and which are not so good. Since I'm planning to curl my hair more often now (I have really straight hair and I've always kept it that way), I'm going to need hairspray.
Can anybody recommend great hairspray that won't make your hair greasy or hard? And it won't also weigh your hair down. Basically, I want the hairsprays that'll make the hair look pretty and make the curls last. Please help me out. Thanks!

Aveda Air Control for a natural soft hold, or TIGI Bed Head Hard Head for unmovable hold. both are simply amazing. they spray on DRY, so no waiting for the wet hair spray area to dry for hold.

Really? I can't stand the Garnier Fructis hair products, they always left white residue in my hair...

Thanks everybody for the suggestions.
I was also wondering, if I use hairspray everyday except on the weekends, do I still need to use a clarifying shampoo if it's just hairspray?
Btw, I don't have colored hair.

I also like Aveda Air Control & Fekkai Hair Spray, both I found are non-greasy and creates bouncy hairs.. if you know what I mean.

I don't normally use claryfiying shampoo, just once a week, and that's only b/c my conditioner contains sillicone that tends to build up & flatten my hair. If you don't have clarifying shampoo, just mix about a heaping teaspoon of baking soda with your regular shampoo, it works for me! (I too, have a non-colored hair.. so I assume they're safe to use) Hths!

alright...i dont know if you guys are familiar with Halo, by grahham webb...welll anyways its amazing, u can twist ur hair...spray, and in like 2 seconds it locks! when i want volume i just spray it on the roots...then BRUSH IT OUT. it works well for ponytails, it will be perfectly slick. contacts uv,ub,thermal, and a bunch of other protection. i think its prettty cool

I like Dove's volumizing spray. It has one of those funky nosels so you can spray your roots.

What I like about it it that it's very soft. The regular version is should be soft too. (I would assume).

I have no idea on how it would hold up on curls though, I have short hair.

I have to say Herbal Essences spray called "Set Me Up" it smells really good and it really made my curls last really long even if I sleep in them and the next day I wake up its still curly. It is cheap too like I think $3-4? You should give that a try before spending on some expensive hair products.

Thanks everybody. I just went out and bought Tigi's bed head hard head hairspray. I've only used it once so far but it seems pretty good. I've heard Tigi's hair products are good so that's why I decided to buy that one. But I might try different hairspray brands later on, especially the ones you all recommended me.
