good mac brush to apply shadow underneathe lower lashes

I like the 212 brush for application of shadows/fluidline underneath the lashes.

very neat and concise.

the angled version of the 212 would work just as well too.

IMO i think the 266 brush is the best. its soft so it doesnt hurt my eyes.

For more precision, I like the 212 or the 266 (really depends on if you're a flat or angled liner brush kind of person), and for smokier, smudged application, the 219 is the way to go!

I like to apply shadow with the 266, then smudge it out with the 219.

212 or 266 for precise lines, 219 for a smudgy, thicker look and 217 if you are adding something like motif all over.
