GORGEOUS MAKE UP ALERT!!! Diana Vickers x factor smile performance...

Just watched the x factor and could not get enough of Diana Vickers fab make up on her Smile Performance!! You can't really see very well from this picture or even the youtube video, but it was gorgeous!

Products Used [apparently]:

+Make up artist was Jackie Tyson and she apparently used : Perfect wear extra lasting powder eyeshadow by Avon (anyone tried this?) for a wet look
+Loreal Superliner in Carbon (can't wait for mac's penultimum liner to come into the shops!)
+and Avon Shimmer Tips Mascara in Silver dabbed on the top of lids to add sparkle (but come on, we all know that has got to be some black mac glitter to give it that much sparkle, I just wont accept these were the real products used!)
+Loreal Collagen Black Mascara for chunky effect

I assume to recreate this you could use blackground/blacktrack/smolder and carbon with wonderwhite glitter eyeliner smudged over lids and some black and antque gold glitter? And it looks like fascinating on the waterline. With fake lashes! Any recs welcome :0) because

It was absolutely gorgeous wasn't it - although I personally though it was a little too thick on the lower lashline. Just my personal taste though.

I'd go with something similar - blacktrack or blitz n glitz as a base with black tied over and grey glitter over the top with lashings of mascara and falsies. My own little twist would be 3D gold glitter on the lids - that would look awesome!

Yeah I agree, she was only 17 and it was a bit thick on the bottom. I still loved this though! Especially the hair and hat and background. It went so well! Anything with loads of glitter! I am going to give this look a go! I picked up a really good tip from one of mac's trainers on my update. She said push the reflects glitter with your finger onto the eyelid that has a fluidline as a base and it will hold a bit better! Might post it if I get round to it!

I usually use mixing medium to stick glitter to the lids.

I've worked for Mac since March and been a fan for YEARS and I have never used mixing medium! I think I'll add that to my next haul list!

I use the eyeliner mixing medium - the gel one.

Mix a little glitter in with it and then pat on the lids either with a finger or a brush and bob's your uncle!

haha the hand is a bit repetitive and cringy... but she is absolutely gorgeous i loved her make up and her dress, i thought the lips looked like lovelorn and thought she had bottom falsies on too!!
