Have you girls seen the new Got Milk? ad with the girls from The View? The pic is of them all standing there with their milk mustaches in front of a huge makeup mirror with MAC products all over the place! One of them is holding a StudioTech/StudioFix/Moistureblend compact, one of them is holding a lipstick, a couple of them are holding brushes, there is a lipglass and MV2 bottle sitting on the counter....I'm wondering....do you think MAC had something to do with the product placement or do the girls just love MAC?? I thought it was kind of interesting since MAC doesn't really do any product advertising except for the Viva Glam stuff for AIDS charities.

Hhhm, where did you see this ad at? Was it in a magazene or on a billboard or what? I'd love to see it. That seems weird to promote milk and MAC in one ad!! I'm assuming MAC had nothing to do w/ it, as they have never advertised before.

Maybe, they were just suppose to look girly with all the makeup, and werent really trying to put the labels or product right up in your face. But with us MAC addicts...we know our labels & can spot a l/g or MAC brush anywhere.
I know that ive seen MAC products used before on TV and of course i was like oh wow shes using MAC!!! ...but it wasnt because they put the label up to the camera or said what it was.
I want to see this ad now

I silently laugh when I see girls at school pulling out their mac to reapply between classes. I think, if only I should tell them about Spektra, primers, etc... they wouldn't have to reapply. it would have lasted in the 1st place. i also want to ask them what colors they have and do inventory comparisons!

I saw that too! They really didn't do a good job to hide the name "MAC" though because you can see clear as day, "MAC Lipglass" on the tube LOL!

MAC definately had something to do with it- as products are never placed in ads, films, etc. where they can be recognised as to what brand they are, without the company being involved (and generally their PR department pays to for the product placement).
