grey eyeshadow

What other color eyeshadows do you ladies and gents pair with a grey smokey eye? I have Stila's Diamond Lil (a supposed dupe for MAC Smoke & Diamonds) and I use it over a black base but I don't know what to put between the crease color and the highlight color. I only used two colors for the look (Diamond Lil and a white matte highlight color). Any recommendations?

Another question, what do you pair with silver ring or any other silver colors with? I never touch my silver shadows cuz I don't know what looks good with it.

Green, and purple for the first question! Silver is a "neutral" color so you really can pair anything with them, they are actually quite versitile! I like pairing silver ring with lavenders, greens, plums, violets, bright pinks, light blues, the list goes on and on!

When I use a "dull" grey I use a bright/semi glittery green, when I use a more vibrant greyI used a more muted green, works suprisingly well on brown eyes.

Golden olive looked nice on my daughter with the silver,although purple goes equally well

I pair silvers with black in the crease for a lovely smokey eye.

i love silver ring! it is my fave silver shadow! i love doing a smokey eye with black tied, carbon and vellum shadows the most.

but it also looks amazing with purples and lilacs!
